Saturday Continued

The kids spent most of the day playing in the barn and the hay shed. At one point they were having a near gang rivalry with the Holdeman Mennonite kids over who had a right to play up there. They were a little possessive of the farm on sale day. Alex said the auctioneer's "singing" was annoying so they had to get away.

Lots of sugar consumed behind mommy's back. Papa had the Mennonite ladies who were selling food keep an open tab for family. Lucy took full advantage of Papa.

The day ended with an enormous amount of pizza.

And a double birthday party.
